This is a comprehensive and interactive 3 hour class that covers everything from labour and delivery, deep breathing and pain relief to C-sections.  The postpartum period will also be taught, with a focus on the early postpartum recovery period.

Every labour is unique, and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned.  Being prepared for any situation is important.

My goal is to instill confidence in your labour and delivery, and help you navigate through the early stages of your recovery and embrace your new role.

This informative 2.5 hour class will help you to better understand how breastfeeding works, how to get off to a good start, how to establish a healthy supply of breast milk, how to help your baby latch, how to know if your baby is getting enough, different breastfeeding positions, common breastfeeding challenges and when to seek help.

As an IBCLC, my goal is to protect, promote and support breastfeeding by providing you with the knowledge to get you and your baby(ies) off to a healthy start and an enjoyable breastfeeding journey!

"Whenever and however you intend to give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life."
Ina May Gaskin

I would be thrilled to educate, support and guide you through the preparation process of childbirth and breastfeeding.  I am here to help decrease any anxiety you may have by providing you with accurate, up-to-date information in a fun and engaging way.

I blend my personal experience of having 4 natural childbirths, my work as a L&D and Postpartum nurse, as well as my extensive experience as an IBCLC to help you fully understand what's happening to your body.  I ultimately want you to feel well prepared, confident and empowered in your "precious beginnings".
